The short version

We collect what you give us (your name, email, phone, address, and anything you tell us about your home or what you are looking for), plus the usual website data. We use it to answer you, help you buy or sell, and keep in touch. We do not sell it. You can ask us what we have, ask us to fix it, or ask us to delete it, any time, by emailing team@ohanabrokers.com. The rest of this page is the long version.

1. Who we are

This website, ohanabrokers.com (the “Site”), is operated by Ohana Brokers, a real estate team licensed with Real Broker LLC in Washington (“we,” “us,” “our”). We use third-party tools to run the Site and our business, including scheduling, forms, email, text messaging, and customer relationship management software (“Service Providers”). They process your information only on our behalf. This policy applies to the Site and to the ways we communicate with you. It does not apply to other websites we link to, including Real Broker LLC’s own sites, which have their own policies.

2. What we collect

Information you give us. Your name, email, phone number and mailing address; details about your home or your search; your preferences for hearing from us; and anything you send us by form, email, text, phone or in person.

Information from other sources. Public property records, the Northwest Multiple Listing Service, social media platforms where you interact with us, and data services that help us keep contact details current. We do not use any of this to decide your eligibility for housing, credit, insurance or employment.

Communication records. If you email, text or call us, we keep the message, when it was sent, and our notes about it, in our CRM. Our CRM may sync with our email so that our conversation history is in one place.

Automatic data. Like most websites, the Site and our emails may log your device type, browser, IP address, approximate location, the pages you visit, and whether you open or click an email. This is collected with cookies, local storage and small tracking images (“pixels”).

3. How we use it

To respond to you and provide real estate services. To keep records of our work together. To send follow-up and, if you opt in, occasional marketing by email, phone or text. To run, secure and improve the Site. To comply with the law, including the record-keeping rules that apply to licensed brokers in Washington. To protect ourselves and others from fraud. We may also combine information into anonymous statistics that cannot identify you.

4. Artificial intelligence

We use AI tools to help draft written content, including parts of this Site, marketing materials and email replies, and to help organize our communications. A person reviews what goes out under our name. AI-assisted content can contain mistakes, so do not rely on it alone for a real estate decision; ask us and we will confirm. We do not use AI to make any decision that has a legal or similarly significant effect on you. You can ask us whether AI helped produce something we sent you.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it with: our team members and Real Broker LLC as needed to serve you and meet brokerage obligations; our Service Providers (hosting, forms, scheduling, email, texting, CRM, analytics and advertising platforms), who may use it only to provide their service to us; professional advisors such as lawyers and accountants; the other parties to your transaction, as required to complete it (lenders, escrow, title, inspectors, the other agent); authorities when the law requires it; and a successor if our business is ever sold or reorganized. We never share phone numbers or text-message consent with third parties for their marketing, and we do not upload phone numbers to advertising platforms.

6. Advertising and tracking

We may use pixels from Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google to measure whether our ads work and to show our ads to people who have visited the Site or who resemble them. Those platforms collect device and browsing data through their own cookies. Some state laws treat this as “sharing” for targeted advertising; you can opt out as described in section 7.

7. Your choices

Texts. Reply STOP to any text from us to stop. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply; frequency varies.

Email. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or tell us.

Targeted advertising. Email us at team@ohanabrokers.com with “Opt out” in the subject line. We also honor Global Privacy Control signals from your browser. You can block cookies in your browser settings, limit your advertising ID in your phone settings, or use the opt-out tools at aboutads.info and networkadvertising.org. We do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals.

Your information. You can ask us to tell you what we have about you, give you a copy, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for a particular purpose. Email us and we will confirm your identity and respond within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for asking.

8. How long we keep it

For as long as we are working together and a reasonable time after, so we can follow up and answer questions. Transaction records are kept as long as Washington brokerage rules require, currently at least three years after closing. Marketing preferences are kept until you change them. When we delete your information at your request, we keep only a note that you asked, so we can honor it.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards and we work with reputable vendors, but no system is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee it.

10. Children

The Site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we will delete it if we learn we have.

11. Texting terms

By giving us your number and agreeing to be contacted, you consent to receive texts from Ohana Brokers about your inquiry, appointments, your transaction and, if you opt in, our services. Consent is not a condition of working with us. Reply STOP to cancel and we will confirm by text. Reply HELP, or email us, for assistance. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

12. State and international rights

If you live in California or another state with a consumer privacy law, you have the rights described in section 7, including the right to know, correct, delete and opt out of targeted advertising, and the right to appeal a decision we make about your request by replying to our response. California residents may also request the categories of information we have collected and shared in the past 12 months. We do not sell personal information and do not use sensitive personal information for anything that triggers a right to limit. If you contact us from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we process your information on the basis of your consent, our contract with you, our legal obligations or our legitimate interests, your information is processed in the United States, and you may complain to your local supervisory authority.

13. Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way we will post the new version here with a new date.
